The cone carries all the oil to the bottom valve, so the tank drains completely with nothing left standing.

Olive oil tanks and plants
Why nitrogen blanketing?
Oxygen is the main cause of oil oxidation. With blanketing, the empty part of the tank stays full of nitrogen, produced on site by a generator: contact between the oil and oxygen is kept to a minimum both while the tank is filling and while it is emptying.
Do you build large olive oil tanks?
Yes. When a tank is too large to transport, we build it directly on site: so far up to 15 m in diameter and 20 m high.
Do you also build oil filtration plants?
Yes. We have built plants handling up to 30 t/h of oil.
