Frequently asked questions
Wine sector
What is the difference between a vinification tank and a fermenter?
A fermenter is a fermentation tank with jackets to control temperature: it is used mainly for must without skins, for white and rosé wines. A vinification tank also has pump-over and pomace extraction from the bottom, because it is used to ferment the must on its skins. We build both, as well as storage tanks, all designed around your winery.
Do you build tanks directly on site?
Yes. When a tank is too large to transport, we build it in your winery: so far up to 15 m in diameter and 20 m high.
