The factory
comes to you.
When a tank is too big to travel by road, we build it where it will stand, with our own teams. On site we use the same welding rig and automatic welding as in our workshop: the finish is the same.
Our own equipment, set up on site
Three machines we bring from our workshop to your site, so that a tank assembled in place is built exactly as it would be in the workshop.

The finish
Spot the difference
You can usually tell a site-built tank by its welds. Not ours: same welding rig, same welding and same finish as our shop-built tanks.
- BrushedA Scotch-Brite band blends the weld into the finish of the tank.
- PickledRestores the protective layer of the stainless steel: it is there for corrosion resistance and hygiene first, appearance second.
- Thin weld beadOn the outside, only a regular line remains.
- Welded to ISO 3834Our welding quality system is certified by Bureau Veritas, in the workshop and on site.

Our own teams, no subcontracting
We design, build and install with our own teams. Where the plant calls for it, we also supply the piping, stairs and walkways.
- 01
Design and calculation
Tank and plant modelled in 3D and verified with FEM studies and simulations before construction.
- 02
Site set-up
The welding rig, decoiler and coils arrive on site.
- 03
Construction
Automatic welding inside and outside, one shell ring after another.
- 04
Finishing
Every weld is brushed and pickled.
- 05
Testing and handover
With piping, stairs and walkways where included.
Frequently asked questions
Tanks built on site
What is the largest tank you have built on site?
15 m in diameter and 20 m high, equal to about 35,000 hL of geometric volume.
Is the finish on site the same as in the workshop?
Yes. We use the same technology: automatic welding inside and outside at the same time, then brushing with a Scotch-Brite band and pickling. On the outside, a thin, regular weld bead remains.
How do you calculate a tank this large?
With FEM studies and simulations at the design stage. On site the tank becomes a steel structure, and we build it to EN 1090, certified by Bureau Veritas.
Who installs the tank?
Our in-house teams, with our own equipment and no subcontractors, supervised by the technician who designed it.
